About MIAtecs

Built by a microscopist, for breeding teams.

MIAtecs was founded in Marseille to close a gap in plant phenotyping: microscopic-scale traits — stomatal density, size, aperture — are agronomically decisive for water-use efficiency and drought tolerance, but remain slow and expensive to measure at scale.

We work directly with research institutes, seed companies, and agri-cooperatives across Europe, the Americas, and Australia — combining field-deployable imaging with species-specific AI models, delivered as a service, not a black box.
